Details

Comparison of artificial baits with herring and other fresh baits, using time-lapse video,. solar powered buoys. The video cameras will be mounted in lobster traps.  Our initial test results show that crabs  immediately go for the fresh bait, whereas lobsters approached the bait cautiously .  A video will be made available after several more tests have been done using different baits. The buoys have been updated with 30 and 40 GB hard drives and a very low light camera
